The Nations run some of YouTube’s biggest music channels - but their web presence didn’t reflect that. They needed a destination for artist submissions, a stronger brand identity, and a site that felt as innovative as the music they champion.

We started with a bold goal: create a web experience as dynamic and fresh as The Nations’ YouTube catalog. We kicked off with research, pulling together moodboards that captured their youthful, experimental spirit. From there, we crafted a modern brand identity — sleek, adventurous, and unmistakably them. Using Figma, we moved through low-fi sketches to high-impact visuals, refining every detail until it struck the perfect chord. The final build was done in Framer, where we pushed the limits of interactive web design. Custom-coded components and immersive animations made the site feel alive - a place where new artists could feel inspired to submit their work. But beauty wasn’t enough. We also coded a custom submission form to streamline artist intake, replacing the clunky, manual process. And we didn’t stop there - we optimised the entire site for SEO, helping The Nations go from hard-to-find to top-ranked for key search terms. The result? More visibility, more submissions, and one seriously standout site.
